    Étude de l’activité Antioxydante des feuilles d’olivier (Olea europeae L.)

    Résumé : ( Français ) Le sujet concerne une contribution à la connaissance de l’activité antioxydant in vitro des feuilles de l’olivier Olea europeae L. appartenant à la famille des oléacées, provenant des monts de Tessala (wilaya de Sidi Bel Abbès). L’objectif est de connaitre si l’espèce présente un pouvoir antioxydant. Dans ce travail, cinq concentrations croissantes ont été utilisée. Ces concentrations varient de 0.2 mg / ml à 1.0 mg / ml avec une progression géométrique de 0.2 mg / ml. Trois paramètres de l’activité antioxydant ont été utilisés pour évaluer ce phénomène. Il s’agit du pourcentage d’inhibition, de l’IC50 et de l’efficacité anti radicalaire. Les résultats ont montré que l’extrait méthanoïque révèle un pouvoir élevé de piégeage du radical libre DPPH avec une IC50 de 0.35 mg / ml et une EAR de 2.85. L’activité antioxydant a été ensuite comparée au témoin de référence acide ascorbique qui a révélé une valeur inférieure de l’IC50 de 0.21 g /ml et une EAR supérieure de 4.76, indiquant l’efficacité du témoin et ainsi un pouvoir antioxydant plus puissant. Abstract : ( Anglais ) The subject concerns a contribution to the knowledge of the antioxidant activity in vitro of the leaves of the olive tree Olea europeae L. belonging to the oleaceae family, from the Tessala mountains (wilaya of Sidi Bel Abbès). The aim is to find out if the species has antioxidant power. In this work, five increasing concentrations were used. These concentrations vary from 0.2 mg / ml to 1.0 mg / ml with a geometric progression of 0.2 mg / ml. Three parameters of antioxidant activity were used to assess this phenomenon. These are percent inhibition, IC50 and anti-free radical efficacy. The results showed that the methanolic extract exhibits a high capacity for scavenging the free radical DPPH with an IC50 of 0.35 mg / ml and an EAR of 2.85. The antioxidant activity was then compared to the ascorbic acid reference control which revealed a lower IC50 value of 0.21 g / ml and a higher RAE of 4.76, indicating the effectiveness of the control and thus a more potent antioxidant power.
