L’Algérie est l’un des payes plus touchés par le cancer, et le peuple algérien fait partie des peuples qui ont tendance à être traités avec des herbes médicinales Le but de cette étude est de connaitre les types de plantes médicinales utilisées dans le traitement de tous les types de cancer dans El Bayadh et Sidi Bel Abbés.
Nous avons réaliser ne enquête ethnobotanique75 questionnaires ont été distribués à la population locale de chacune des deux régions et ont été étudiés afin de recueillir le plus d’information ethnobotanique
Les résultats obtenus ont permis l’identification de 16 espèces appartenant à 13 familles différentes. Le type le plus largement utilisé contre le cancer est la plante Stapf Ephedra Sinica, et l’étude actuelle a révélé qu’il existe une utilisation moyenne des plantes médicinales dans tous les types de cancer, ce qui prouve qu’il existe une orientation vers la médecine traditionnelle .

Algeria is one of the countries most affected by cancer , and the Algerian people who tend to be treated with herbal medicines The aim of this study is to know the types of medicinal plants used in the treatment of all types of cancer in EL-Bayadh and Sidi Bel Abbés .
To do this, 75 questionnaires were distributed to the local population of each of the two region and were studied in order to collect the most ethno botanical information.
The results obtained allowed the identification of 16 species belonging to 13 families .The most widely used type against cancer is the Stapf Ephedra Sinica plant , and the current study found that there is an average use of herbal remedies in all types of cancer, proving that there is a shift towards traditional medicine.
