This dissertation studies the psychological effects of reading literature. It looks at how reading stories can affect feelings, thoughts, and behavior. The study shows that literature can improve empathy, imagination, and emotional understanding. It can also reduce stress and help readers think about other people’s experiences. To collect data, a student's questionnaire was used as a research tool. It helped us understand viewpoints of students on reading literature and how it affects them. It was able to get an answer to confirm and test our hypothesis. Finally, the results were analyzed, and general recommendations were provided to facilitate the learning process through the psychological effects of reading literature on university students.
