Résumé (Français et/ou Anglais) : The structural vibrations damping of composite and FGM structures with main active piezoelectric damping devices is addressed in this thesis. Finite elements model were developed for structures with piezoelectric patches. The first part of the work is dedicated to the derivation of an electromechanical model suited for FGM beam with piezoelectric actuators layers. Then, an appropriate control law velocity feedback (LVF) is proposed to obtain the control gain. The second part is devoted to develop a prototype of active control of vibration of FGM plate with piezoelectric actuators under Ansys finite element software. Two types of controllers (PID and LQR) are implemented. The last part of the work is dealt with the optimization of piezoelectric actuators networks using genetic algorithms. The optimization procedure is based on minimizing the quadratic linear index.
